LAST SATURDAY SPANKING OF 2015

Happy New Year.  Christmas, 2015 is over.  It's hard to believe that we spend so much time getting ready and then its over in an instant. Hope everyone had a wonderful day and enjoyed the holiday.  Now we have to gear up for 2016.  Whatever happened to Y2K - remember that? It was yesterday, wasn't it?

Loving His China Doll is the story of Chyna Minton and Jeff Kincaid.

Chyna Minton became blind after a traumatic childhood experience.  She developed ‘second sight’ after the incident so when handsome Jeff Kincaid calls at her house to inquire about leasing her family land, she knows he will forever change her life in some way.

As the two find their way into love, problems arise.  Having initially been resigned to her blindness, Chyna is unhappy at the prospect of being dependent on someone else and fears that eventually Jeff will tire of her not being able to function in the traditional role of a farmer’s wife.  Desperate to change things, she decides to go back into therapy.

Today's snippet takes place after Jeff arranged to lease Chyna's land.  Chyna hasn't told him she is blind but he suspects and is trying to get her to tell him.

“So are you ever going to tell me, or are you waiting for me to say something?”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about?”

“Liar, liar, pants on fire.”

“I never understood that phrase.”

“To me, it meant if I got caught in a lie, mom or dad would light a fire on the seat of my pants, usually with a switch or a wooden spoon.”  He watched her face redden as she squirmed in the chair.

“I can see by your expression you know exactly what I’m talking about, don’t you? Better watch out or you might be reliving the experience.”

“More lemonade?” she asked.

“You keep dancing around. I’ll get to the bottom of this yet.”

“Bottom, huh.”

He laughed.  “Is this going to be a battle of semantics?

Saturday Spankings

Twas the week before Christmas and all through the land, people are scurrying trying to be ready for Santa's big night.  If you're exhausted from braving the traffic and fighting the crowded stores, why not sit back, click your finger and see what it's like for Sarah and Mary Jo.  Both these gals share a Rocky Mountain Christmas with a sexy cowboy.

The Christmas Cowboy:  Sarah has broken up with her fiance but decides to take the ski trip they planned. A heavy snowstorm and slick roads cause her to lose control of her car and her heart.  Randy Guthrie comes to the rescue.

“Ma’am, are you hurt?  Can I help?”

“Those are the nicest words I’ve heard all day.  Something crossed in front of me; I braked and the car skid and spun around a couple of times and ended up in this field.  I don’t think another car has gone passed.  You saw my ski?”

“Yes, it was a good idea.  But what the hell are you doing out in a storm like this?  You haven’t seen another car because the road is closed.”

“Then why are you on the road?” she asked haughtily.

Now you know those words and that attitude are not going to set well.

Christmas in Montana:  Mary Jo is escaping a Christmas wedding - hers.  She arranges to stay at a remote cabin in Montana.  Wes Parker a brusque, burly cowboy is her landlord. In this remote Montana Winter Wonderland, sparks fly from the very beginning.

"I held off having dinner because I figured you would be arriving late.  You never did call to tell me exactly when you would get here."

"I'm sorry, I didn't know how long it would take me to get here."

"Out this way, it's important to let someone know your whereabouts, especially in winter."

"I'll remember that."

"See that you do."

Can't you just hear the tone and the warning - spine tingling shivers, right?

Rocky Mountain Christmas and my latest release, Loving His China Doll are available now at LSF Publications.  While you're there, why not treat yourself and buy both,  All digital editions in one place and just a click away.

SATURDAY SPANKING

The Countdown to Christmas has begun - less than two weeks now. It's hard to believe the 2015 is almost at an end.  Didn't it only start last month?

Today's excerpt is from my latest novella, Loving His China Doll,  the story of Chyna Minton and Jeff Kincaid.  Chyna Minton became blind after a traumatic childhood experience.  She developed ‘second sight’ after the incident so when handsome Jeff Kincaid calls at her house to inquire about leasing her family land, she knows he will forever change her life in some way.

The two find their way into love, but problems arise.  Having initially been resigned to her blindness, Chyna is unhappy at the prospect of being dependent on someone else and fears that eventually Jeff will tire of her not being able to function in the traditional role of a farmer’s wife.  Desperate to change things, she decides to go back into therapy.

In this scene, Jeff has already contacted Chyna about leasing her land and is awaiting her answer. Chyna and her friend Becky Taylor are having ice cream at Farrell's when Jeff Kincaid entered. Chyna felt the hair rise on the back of her neck.

“It’s him, isn’t it?” she asked Becky.

“Who him?”

“Jeff Kincaid, the fellow who wants to lease my land.”

“If that’s Jeff Kincaid, he is one good-looking dude, not that it matters to you how he looks."

" I can tell you what I see.   He’s tall – over six feet, with skin, bronzed from the sun. He has a strong, stubborn jaw with steely blue eyes that seem to look right through to your soul and hair as black as night.”

“Are you sure you can’t see, Chyna?”

She laughed at her friend, “Not the way you do Becky.”

“He’s coming this way, Chyna.” She heard him approach and remembered the timbre of his voice – it sent chills down her spine.

Saturday Spankings

features two seasonal romances in one place.

The Christmas Cowboy and Christmas in Montana

The Christmas Cowboy - Following the breakup with her fiance, Sarah Langston decides to go on the skiing trip they had planned, by herself.  She gets caught in a snowstorm and her car spins off the road.  Rescued by handsome, rugged cowboy, Randy Guthrie, who takes her back to his ranch, and the two begin a love/hate relationship.

In this scene, Randy and Sarah are having a conversation after he's rescued her and brought her back to his ranch.

“Fact is, you may or may not be correct.  Maybe you should compare notes with my former fiancée.  But then, she was the one who was a spoiled brat and didn’t like it when I tried to correct that behavior.”

“What did you do, arrest her for behavior unbecoming to a fiancée?” and she giggled at her own joke.

He didn’t laugh.  “No, I merely took her over my knee and gave her the spanking she deserved.  She didn’t like it.”

Christmas in Montana - Mary Jo Blanton's mother wants her to become Mrs. Franklin Tyler Howard in a wedding designed to be the social event of the Christmas season.  The only problem is Mary Jo has no intention of becoming a Christmas bride and arranges to disappear for a while.  She arranges to rent a remote cabin and finds a smokin' hot man who provides all kinds of heat.

In this scene, Mary Jo has arrived at her new home for the next couple of months.  It is the first meeting between her and hew landlord, Wes Parker.

"You never did call me to tell me exactly when you would get here."  His tone was almost one of admonition and I felt chastised.

"I'm sorry.  I didn't know low long it would take me to get here."

"Out this way, it's important to let someone know your whereabouts."...

"I'll remember that."

"See that you do."  The man had the power to intimidate me, something Frank never did.  It wasn't just his size...His manner and that beautiful voice had a steel edge that made you sit up and pay attention.

Halloween Saturday Spanking

All in the Family, does anyone out there remember this television program?  The following snippet is 'all in the family' too.  Trace Connor's sister is married to a spanker, and she has helped her future sister-in-law, Lauren, to understand and accept that spanking can be good for marriage.

Lauren and Cory McCullough planned to enjoy the beautiful fall weather and go horseback riding one afternoon. Lauren has called to remind her sister-in-law of their plans.

“Good Morning, girl.  The weather’s good, and if all goes well, I should be home by noon.  Are you still up for a ride this afternoon?”

“Probably.”

“Why probably?”

“It depends on how much better my ass feels by noon.  If it doesn’t feel any better, I’m not relishing the idea of sitting astride a horse all afternoon.”

“Were you a naughty girl?”  She said laughingly.

“Flynn seemed to think so.  He thought I was being a little snippy and needed an attitude adjustment.  I didn’t think so, and it escalated from there.  Note to self, remember this the next time.”  She laughed.

The Doctor and the Rancher takes place in the beautiful state of Montana. Lauren Bancroft, born in Idaho,  moves to Montana after a long stint of living in Los Angeles. Trace and his sister, Cory, were adopted by the Connor's and were raised at Double Pines Ranch in Carsonville,  Montana.  Trace, Cory, and Lauren share many of the same values, but there are subtle differences. Those differences provide some interesting reading as they find a way to close the gap and accept the inevitable.

SPANKING ON SATURDAY

“You can have as many as you can handle Trace.” He brought his mouth down on hers, sweeping his tongue inside, taking her in and filling her with need. She kissed him back, and as she moved against him, she heard him moan. He broke the kiss and took a small step back resting his forehead against hers. “Not tonight” he whispered “but soon.” Before leaving, his lips brushed against her hair.

Lauren couldn’t believe her reaction to Trace.  Never had she been so turned on by a man.  She would be breaking out her vibrator tonight but it was going to be a poor substitute, she wanted so much more.  She wanted the ‘but soon’ now, and later, she wanted Trace. Remembering a saying she saw somewhere that said ‘you know that tingly feeling you get when you like someone, that’s common sense leaving your body,’ she realized common sense had already left her body.

                                         ****************

If that's more than eight sentences, so be it. Lauren Bancroft and Trace Connor are the main characters in The Doctor and the Rancher.  I'm sure you can guess who is who.  Lauren is looking for a fresh start away from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles and takes a position as a 'town' doctor in small town in Montana. The Connor family's roots are entrenched in Carsonville and the Double Pines Ranch.  Both Trace and Lauren share many of the same values, but there are subtle differences. Those differences provide some interesting reading as they find a way to close the gap and accept the inevitable.

SEPTEMBER SATURDAY SPANKINGS

Another week just flew by.  How did that happen?  The scary part is that this year is almost three quarters gone and I just got used to thinking 2015.

The Doctor and Her Rancher is my latest release.  It's the story of Lauren Bancroft, a 35 year old doctor who wants out of LA and Trace Connors, a rancher and town councilman who is looking for a new doctor to replace Carsonville's  current retiring physician.  Lauren and Trace are two independent people with different opinions and how they come together in life and love.

Last week, the scene took place the morning after Lauren's arrival in Carsonville. This week we're continuing after Trace has returned.  Lauren has fixed breakfast for them. After breakfast and a visit from Trace's sister and nephews, Lauren begins to clean the kitchen and Trace tells her to sit, he'll take care of it.

"Sit.  You cooked, I'll clean.  She ignored him and continued loading the dishwasher.  He twisted the towel and swatted her behind.  "Do I have to treat you the way I treat the boys to get their attention?"
She giggled, not knowing how else to react.  Her body knew how to respond, though, she felt a sudden dampness between her legs.  Not sure if she should sit or continue cleaning, she chose to sit.

"Good girl," I don't know you well enough to take this further."  Another tingle in her nether regions.

Take this further, whatever could he mean?  Want to know you can find out by clicking the link below.

Available in all digital formats at LSF Publications.

***Just learned that one of my short stories, The Hired Help, is now available for purchase. It's .99 cents and a steal.

September SaturdaySpankings

I can't believe I'm saying this, but it's the last big weekend of the summer, at least here in the US. For you folks down under, it's all ahead of you - lucky folks.  I hope your summer goes slower than ours. I blinked and almost missed it.

Today's scene takes place the morning after Lauren's arrival in Carsonville. If you want a refresher, click here.  She has spent the night in one of the guest bedrooms in the main house.  When she wakes and comes downstairs there's a note from Trace telling her to make herself welcome and he'll return. When he does, she volunteers to fix them both breakfast.

He watched as she gathered what she needed.  She was a beautiful woman, tall and willowy and natural, comfortable in her own skin.  Lip gloss the only discernible makeup to his untrained eye.  Her long brown hair was pulled back in a high ponytail, sweeping back and forth like a clock pendulum as she moved around the kitchen. Each time she moved, she left a floral scent in her wake. He noticed she bit her lip as she concentrated on mixing the batter and he realized he wanted to go over and kiss her. ‘Where is this coming from?’ he said to himself. ‘She’s my tenant and the town doctor, not my girlfriend. Still, we got along great last evening; she’s bright, witty and looks like she knows her way around a kitchen. Wow, Trace, that’s sexist.’  He’d been so busy ruminating about Dr. Lauren Bancroft and he didn’t realize she asked him if he wanted more coffee.

“No, I’m okay,” he finally answered and swore he heard her mumble, ‘yes you are.' He smirked and thought that maybe he wasn’t alone in the possible romance department.

The Ways of the West-A Visit with Kelly Dawson

Today, another Western Romance writer is visiting.  We do love our cowboys, don't we?  They seem to represent all that is good, strong, sexy, independent, romantic and a couple more adjectives too. Besides which the best ones don't hesitate to take care of naughty bottoms.  Johnny is one of those cowboys as Kelly Dawson tells us in her latest novel The Ways of the West.

Orphaned by an attack on her family’s wagon train, Jessica finds herself stranded a thousand miles from Boston, the only home she has ever known. Only one man—a rough, dusty cowboy named Johnny—stands between her and the perils of the west, and he quickly makes it clear that he is ready to do whatever needs to be done to keep Jessica safe, whether she likes it or not.

When the unlikely pair stumble upon a cattle drive and they are both offered employment, Johnny doesn’t hesitate to accept. But after Jessica loudly expresses her disdain for his plan and for cowboys in general, Johnny decides it is time for drastic action. After a hard, embarrassing spanking followed by a tearful apology to the trail boss, Jessica is left with a sore backside and a strange yet undeniably powerful need to be held close and comforted by her handsome protector.

With Johnny by her side—and claiming an ever bigger place in her heart with each passing day—Jessica begins to adjust to life on the trail. But a cattle drive is a dangerous place for anyone, let alone a city girl with a penchant for disobedience. If he ever wants the chance to make Jessica his wife, Johnny knows he’s going to have to take her firmly in hand before she gets herself hurt or killed. Even if it means a painful, humiliating bare-bottom strapping she’ll never forget, one way or another he’ll teach her the ways of the west.

                                               *****************************************
Author Bio:  Kelly Dawson loves anything to do with horses, rodeos and cowboys, and loves to get lost in a good book. She lives literally at the bottom of the world in the South Island of New Zealand, with her husband, four kids, a dog and a cat.

SATURDAY SPANKINGS

Happy Saturday Everyone.  Haven't visited in awhile - I guess you could say I've been on summer vacation.  Not really, because I have been busy writing.  In addition to this latest release, I do have a couple of other this coming up within the next month or two.

Today, I'm featuring my latest release The Doctor and Her Rancher.

After 35-year old Lauren Bancroft’s parents are killed in a helicopter crash, she leaves her medical practice in LA and takes up the position of town doctor, at Carsonville, a small township in Montana with view of the majestic Rocky Mountains.  On arrival, she is greeted by the tall, handsome rancher, Trace, Connors, chairman of the town council and owner of the Double Pines Ranch.

This is the story of two strong independent people and how they come together and work out their differences.

In this scene, Lauren has arrived at her new living quarters which is a cottage on Double Pines Ranch in Carsonville and meets Trace Connors in person for the first time. He invites her for dinner and they spend the evening getting to know each other.  After Lauren has told him about her life, she asks whether he is married and he explains that he wants a traditional marriage and he is still looking for the right person who shares his values.

“What is your definition of a traditional marriage?” Lauren asks.

“Okay, here’s where it gets me in trouble every time.  Maybe the fact that we’re not in a relationship will make this easier to explain.  Anyway, I think one person should lead in any relationship – much like a dancing partner.  Two leaders don’t work and I think it’s the same way in a marriage.”

“So you think men should be the “boss” so to speak.”

“I think it could be either man or woman, but there has to be one leader, one person who gets the final say.  In my relationship,  I know that it would have to be me. It’s the way I’m wired.”

“Sounds reasonable, I guess.  I’ve never given it much thought.”

“Let me tell you when I’ve answered that question before, I haven’t exactly been the most popular person in the room.”

Available in all digital formats at LSF Publications.

Doing my Job

Just heard from my publisher that my newest book may well be available this weekend.  It's been a while since I've been here on a regular basis, I guess you could say I've taken the summer off, but now it's back to the grindstone.

Here's the tentative new cover.

Dr. Lauren Bancroft is looking to make a difference, so she moves to a small town in Montana.  She doesn't want to set the world on fire but finds sparks with a certain Trace Connors that could well set her on fire.

Do you wish you were back in the 50's?

I remember some of this slang, what does that say about me?  You better not say I'm old.  Say I read a lot.  ha ha.  This is a blast and I'm sure you'll enjoy.

Having a blast with Correcting the Coeds, #spanking #1950s slang

By Cara Bristol

In researching the 1950s for my story Educating His Bride in the spanking romance collection Correcting the Coeds, I ran across a slang glossary from the 1950s. Some terms are still used today, others are familiar (although no longer in popular usage) while others have completely different meanings today. Just for “kicks,” here’s some “boss” slang from the 1950s:

Back seat bingo – kissing in the car
Circled - married
Committed – engaged to be married
Give me a bell – phone me
Hit the bottle – bleach one’s hair blonde
Hottie – a fast car
Jacketed – going steady
Keepers – one’s parents
Make out – kissing, petting
On pills – dieting
On the hook – in love
Passion pit – drive-in movie
Pinky’s out of jail – your slip is showing
Snowed – infatuated

Educating His Bride from Correcting the Coeds blurb
Never much interested in her studies, Margaret Atwater attends college hoping to graduate with an Mrs. degree instead of a bachelor’s. When she catches the eye of English Professor Henry Thurston, she’s thrilled to marry him, drop out of school, and begin a new life as a married woman and faculty wife. However, Henry is a kinky man who has much to teach his eager young bride—in, and out, of the bedroom. As Mrs. Henry Thurston, Margaret’s education has just begun.

An excerpt from Correcting the Coeds
“Now, tell me why you believe I grade you harder than anybody else.”
She wet her lips. “Because you do.”
“My standards are no more exacting for you than they are for any other student. I expect excellence from each of you.”
“I’m sorry. I’ll try harder.”
He flipped open a record book and ran his finger down a list. “As it stands now, your grade is a shaky C minus. If you don’t do well on the final next week, you run the risk of getting a D in the course.” He snapped the grade book closed. “We had a discussion after your last paper, did we not?”
“Yes.”
“I believe I warned you what the consequences would be if you failed to get at least a B.” He opened his middle desk drawer.
Yes, they’d talked about—but he couldn’t be serious.
He withdrew a thick, heavy eighteen-inch measuring stick. “Lock the office door, please.”
Her feet obeyed, even as her mind rebelled. Will he really do this? Her hand shook as she twisted the key. She supposed she could have fled screaming down the corridor, except ladies did not run, let alone scream.
Henry closed the Venetian blinds and switched on a lamp.
She leaned against the stout wood of the door, her eyes riveted on the nasty ruler.
“Come forward, please.” He beckoned with a curl of his fingers. “Put your hands on the desk. Do not remove them until your punishment is over.”
“Henry, please,” she beseeched.
“Now, Margaret.” His expression implacable, he folded his arms. There would be no budging him.
Seeing him so, so stern did something funny to her insides. Made them quiver. It wasn’t all nerves, either. She shuffled forward to place her palms against the blotter. I can do this. How bad can it be? He won’t spank me hard. He only intends to scare me.
He moved the chair out of the way. “Fifteen spanks.”
Fifteen? She’d expected two or three at most. Hadn’t expected any if the truth be told.
She sensed movement and then the ruler struck her backside, blazing a line of fire, and she cried out.
“That’s one,” he said.
The only thing worse than being spanked would be the humiliation of discovery. She clamped her lips together and braced for the next strike.
Another pain-laden streak lanced through several layers of clothing. She couldn’t imagine the impact on bare skin.
“Two,” he said.
Thwack! The length of the ruler struck both cheeks at once, and her hands flew off the desk to protect her bottom.
“You know where your hands belong. Put them there unless you want extra strokes.”
She slapped her palms onto the desk.
“That was three,” he said.
A whoosh then the measuring stick seared the crease where buttocks met thigh and, despite her resolve to remain silent, a little cry escaped.
“I’m sorry I have to punish you, but you promised to do better. You made a commitment. That was four.”
Margaret sucked back the tears. “Maybe I didn’t break a promise. Maybe I’m not smart enough.”
“I don’t believe that about you for an instant. You didn’t do well because you didn’t apply yourself.”
He applied himself with another stroke that got Margaret dancing on tiptoes in an attempt to alleviate the burn.

Saturday Spankings - July 25

The Look of Love is the story of Erica and Scott Carson.   It is a story of their love from the first blush of young love, through the trials and tribulations of a long marriage. After thirty years of marriage, they still cannot keep their hands off each other and when their adult children want to learn the secret of their happy marriage, they find their parents have practiced a domestic discipline lifestyle.

BLURB
The first time she saw him, he was getting out of a long sleek limousine.
Wearing a white Oxford cloth shirt, open from the neckline with the sleeves rolled up and tucked neatly into jeans that looked molded to his body.  She didn't think his legs would ever stop coming out of the car door.  When her eyes finally reached his face, it reminded her of chiseled stone.  His ebony hair curled slightly at the back of his neck, with gray/blue eyes fringed with dark black lashes.  She adjusted her eyes accordingly when he emerged; he hand to be at least 6'8" and 4 feet of him had to be legs. Beautiful was the only word she could think of to describe him and even that didn't define the reality of him.  She nearly fainted right there in the street.  She didn't believe she would ever swoon over someone, and here she was doing it over a stranger.

Now thirty years later his black hair was slightly peppered with gray.  He was beautiful as ever, and she still swooned, but this time those blue/gray eyes were searching the crowd looking for her and when he found her, she could see the love as he strode forward to embrace her.  He took her hand, and they walked into the theatre together.

ALLOWED EIGHT LINES - Erica's First Marital Spanking

He took hold of her and in one quick movement removed both her slacks and her panties. She waited for that first spank not knowing what was coming, but she was ready, or at least, thought she was. It hurt like hell. The first couple of spanks had her relaxing thinking, she could handle this. The longer it went on, the harder he spanked.  Her backside was on fire, and she was sure she was bloodied and bruised. Imagine her surprise when after Scott released her, she ran into the bathroom to check her bum in the mirror, and it was barely red.  How is that possible, feeling the heat radiating from her bum?

Saturday Spankings

I haven't been by in a while - didja miss me?  I've been reading and buying but not leaving comments.  Summer Saturdays are filled with so many things to do, I always think I'm going to get back to visit later, but it doesn't seem to happen.  Does that happen to you too?

This week I'm featuring my latest boxed sex of western romance, Love on a Ranch.   If you haven't already met Ken, Hank, Jude or Jace, here's your chance at a bargain price. Four hunky cowboys that know how to love a good woman but don't hesitate to take them to task. They are as gentle as a summer breeze or tough as nails when necessary.

AT THE END OF THE RAINBOW

Kendall (Ken)Burke and Melody Townsend are the main characters in this book.  She is a career woman intent on remaining unattached and Ken Burke is a rancher intent on getting her to change her mind.
